Velarion Stewardship (“Velarion,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the commissioned research service at stewardship.velarion.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you commission a research pack or hold an annual subscription, and how we protect it. It governs Velarion Stewardship only; the CompBrief report storefront at compbrief.velarion.ai is a separate service under its own policy.
Information You Provide
Email address: collected at checkout so we can deliver your pack, send your receipt, and — for subscriptions — communicate about quota and renewal.
Order details: the subject company you commission a pack on, the pack type, and whether the order is a one-time pack, a subscription pack, or an additional pack beyond the annual quota.
Subscription records: if you hold an annual subscription, we retain the subscription record and the count of packs commissioned against its quota.
Payment: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we receive order confirmation and payment status from Stripe.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) from our hosting provider for security and operations. We use no third-party advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the providers that operate the service:
Service Providers: Stripe (payments and subscription billing), Supabase (order database and pack storage), Vercel (hosting), Railway (pack generation), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL) and access controls. Pack downloads use expiring signed links. No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Order and subscription records (email address, subject companies, and packs commissioned) are retained as needed for delivery, quota administration, support, refunds, and our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us; we will honor the request except where retention is legally required or where an active subscription requires it.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@velarion.ai.
Velarion Stewardship sends transactional email only: order confirmations, pack delivery, subscription and quota notices, and support replies. We do not send marketing email from a Stewardship purchase. Questions: privacy@velarion.ai.
Our site may contain links to third-party websites, including sample packs and payment pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
Velarion Stewardship is a business-to-business service designed for institutional and corporate professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
